Hey! There IS something!

In relation to my previous post's title- Nothing to do on my ACTUAL BIRTHDAY.., guess I was wrong! I did have things to do on my birthday...school, that is <_<

Haha nolah, it's not as boring as it sounds, really. My birthday falls on a Friday this year, my favourite day of the week(because school ends at 12pm)! Weeeee! Had Christian Fellowship(CF), which I led Praise & Worship with Angeline, Char as my guitarist :)

We celebrated March babies' birthday, which Devi's mum baked a chocolate velvet cake. Went back to class and they sang birthday song for me!! Many wished me too :D

Before recess, Gup and Char decided to hand me a card made by them, starting off with "..you know on your blog you wrote you don't have anything happening on your actual birthday, right?" I thought they were gonna ask me out or something!hahaha! But they handed me this!!

It had the Liberty Bell stamps, I believe inspired by Joe's Naomitron 3000 letter and air mail look :D

I never knew this picture existed! Char told me it was when we were out at City Square while Gup was doing her nails. This picture never surfaced, hence, I didn't know about it.lol

The inside :)

I never knew the creepy "Hi..." gesture was started by me! Refer to the picture of the envelope above, according to them, that was the first to many! It was during Gup's birthday lunch last year.LOL You can see both the pictures, they're doing it too.lmao

See what I mean?lmao

They gave me my present last Sunday, and here it is!

Guess what?! The 'I Heart JB' at the inner part of my shirt, it didn't meant Johor Bahru! It was supposed to be Joe Brandon!hahaha! Char was like "=.="..really, you didn't know and thought it was Johor Bahru?" lmao YES! YES! I misinterpret it!!hahaha

I thought wrong.lolol

Went home yesterday feeling all happy since I have so much time on my hands...on my birthday!!! Joe was so sweet, he called me on Skype :)

He's been rather busy these few weeks, so we don't chat as much as before, but we still do, of course. Thought he'd just wish me on Facebook and that's it if he was busy or tired. But NO! He was out at his friend's place while I was at school and he kept checking his watch to make sure he's home by the time I got back from school :')

...just to spend time with me *sigh* :)

We spoke for 6 hours like we used to and it was great!! I really miss him a lot, but he has to work and do everyday stuff, no? I can't expect him to be around 24/7, right? I want to meet him in person and hangout!!!! I wanna see him so baddddd...

He was playing around with a pen the whole time and at some point, he started doodling on his palm.

Guess what was he doodling?!

..then he added alphabets!

..went to the study room to get my marker pen set andddd...

Love Only Joe. Awwww :) Love his dimples!haha

Best birthday everrrr because I have him!! and I got things I want from my family and friends! :D Yay!! My 19th isn't that bad after all :)

Nothing to do on my ACTUAL BIRTHDAY..

Again this year, my family celebrated  my birthday earlier together with Rebecca's since Michelle was going back before our birthdays.

Reb's birthday is a week before mine, so yeah, 2-in-1!

Our Black Forest cake:)

I wanted Black Forest cake, but this one from Veluxe kinda sucked. They just chuck the whole blackcurrant in, so imagine how sour it was when I got lucky.lol

Michelle, Reb and mum got me an early birthday present back in Langkawi last year, which was the Westlife perfume, but guess what?! Mic got an extra item for meeee!:D

Shipped all the way from the States!

This package arrived the same day I got Joe's package. Dad was being curious and wanted to see(which in the end he didn't), so Mic was being all panicky and had to tell me she got something for me, which was supposed to be a surprise.LOL

She said it has something to do with Joe, so she doesn't want dad to see. She was panicking like mad while I was showering.lmao I thought she got Joe to do something.LOL

Tadahhh! It's a custom made key chain! Now, get me my set of keys, ma :D

Now, on to my birthday with the black widows.

We intended to celebrate my birthday a week after the actual one, since we'll be having exams right after my birthday(always happen), but we're too excited, hence, one week earlier it is!:D

It's always a Sunday because it's the only day we can go out.lol Meet up at Gup's was at 1.30pm, so mum brought Reb and I to Aeon Tebrau City after church to waste time.

My shoe from walking so much:( No hope for it anymore:((

When I reached Gup's place, I had to wait under the scorching hot sun while she "finds for her house keys". They told me at last, that they were actually packing my present into an envelope at the last minute.LOL

Gup's mum came back with the car awhile later, and off we went for lunch at Food République! It's right behind Leisure Mall.

The interior of it was quite American-themed. Less than Anmour Cafe though. They had US movie posters around. The deco isn't that nice though.lolol

Sat down and it's placing orders time! Was so hungry!

Nachos, RM9.90

Personally, I liked it. Though the nachos chips was a little hard, but it wasn't rock hard. And I liked the sauce! It's very tomato-ish, I like my nacho dips that way. Gup wasn't satisfied, saying the chips was toooo hard and the sauce was too tomato-ish. Joe probably won't like it either <_<

Gup and Char got set meal, RM25 which included carbonated drinks, a soup of the day, a main course(4 choices) and desert for half price.

Mushroom soup:)

Michelle would probably love it. It's not Campbell Mushroom Soup, we're pretty sure it's made by themselves. I think it tastes better than Anmour's. Very mushroomy.

Gup's Crunchy Breaded Fish & Chips

As for Char, her main course was Chicken and Shrimps Aglio Olio pasta.

It was a little spicy, not bad, but I wouldn't order it for myself because I'm not a pasta person.lol And I seldom finish up my pastas :/

As for me.......I got Char-grilled Cheesy Bacon Beefburger, RM18.90! I don't know if I got my food's name right. But it's along that line :P

Look at that! Yummyyyyy!

I love what I got for myself! It's soooo good! I feel like ordering that whenever I got back there..but hey, I should try out other stuff on their menu, right?

I usually can't finish my food, but I managed to!!! Probably because I was in a good spirit. But I suffered after that. I was soooo full, my tummy was so hard, I felt like I was gonna EXPLODE!

Lastly, our deserts:) They only had two types of deserts, so we got both! If I'm not wrong, each costs RM9.90 after half price.

Brownies was sooooo good! It was hard, it was warm and soft, plus with the ice-cream..HEAVEN!

...and Strawberry Shortcake! It was okay, it was verrrry hard. I didn't quite like it.

My birthday present from both of them!:)

They know I love letters and packages, hence, the envelope concept.haha And Naomitron 3000 is from Joe<_<

What's inside this envelope was...a t-shirt and an army print bandana.lmao What do I do with an army print bandana?LOL I'll just keep it around in case there's need for first aid XD

They traced Minnesota's map! Awwww...

Not the typical 'I Heart NY' style, but good enough. Yay!

Just to make sure I don't forget my roots :P Hey, I don't, okay!

After lunch, we head over to KSL City for a movie- This Means War, the one with Reese Witherspoon and the two spies. Yes, I highly recommend it. It's hilarious. A must-watch:)

In the movie, I prefer Tuck rather than FDR(Chris Pine). Maybe he's more of my kind of person and I don't appreciate people like FDR. But then again, I knew Lauren(Reese Witherspoon) would end up with FDR since Tuck already has a family, it's just that he separated with his wife. So, eventually, I knew they'd go back together.lol

No, I'm not giving you the synopsis, you'll have to watch the movie. GO WATCH! *thumbs up*

Well, it's 3 days to my actual birthday! And yes, I'm free and and have no plans since I've had early celebrations. Plus, it's exam week next week! Yikes! So keep the gifts rolling in! XD

Package with Love / I smell like him

I'm supposed to be snoozing in my bed right now since it's 10.46pm aka my sleepy time, I'm having menstrual cramps and I'm reaaaaally sleepy. But I figured I should start at least a bit of this post.

As I've mentioned a couple of times before in previous posts, I love receiving letters, parcels, any mail! Not newsletters from colleges, though.

Sooooo..yesterday(13th), I got my Love Package!!!!! I didn't know till I came home from school, Michelle rushed to the bathroom to tell me. So you can picture how rushing I was to get done with my shower. I had to tell Joe to hold on because I needed to hurry up and couldn't reply him in between washing my hair.LOL

Yep, I was soooo excited! It's my first package from him! Actually, even if he sent me a letter, I'd be equally excited!:D

Rushed to my package right out of shower!

I know beforehand that there'll be two shirts, one his and the other which he bought for me. Knowing I'll be taking pictures and showing him, I grab my pretty pink roses shorts instead of the plain blue one I took out before shower.haha

You must be scratching your head, wondering why it doesn't look like the normal brown box or the usual packages, but an "American Supports You" box. Well, it's supposed to be for military people that has been deployed, so family members don't have to pay so much for postage fee as they only pay say $8 for a box and they can fit as many things in it as possible.

Haha! Yup, I've got military package!

But somehow, that cheap fee doesn't apply to me. Maybe it only applies to Iraq and Afghanistan..so Malaysia is charged at the usual rate :/

Back to my process of ripping the package apart. Okay, I'm not that wild lah, though there's the excitement and suspense, I don't want to spoil the box! But I ended up ripping it anyway <_<

I just couldn't help it! It's hard to keep calm when the tapes just won't tear. Thankfully, a scissors was nearby and offered some help :)

First thing I see when the magic box is open !!!!!!

*to be continued in school*
*I didn't go to school, hence, continued at home*

Slowly removed the tape holding the opening of the plastic bag(I didn't want to ruin it, duh) and I could already smell his cologne!

First look into the bag

Joe included this Mix & Match! note with short descriptions of the things inside the bag:D

So cute, right!haha I felt like I was in kindergarten again!

Let's get down to business! See what he got for me. Weeeeeee!

1) His heavily-sprayed-with-cologne T-shirt!!

I liked the smell of his cologne, that's the reason why he sprayed it on. It was a little overwhelming when I took it out of the plastic wrapper, but I understand that's just to make sure the scent stays on till it reaches me:)

Michelle was hilarious. I could tell she was holding it till she couldn't take it anymore since she has sensitive nose like I do, so she asked if she could open the windows.LOL

But...YAY! I got a boyfriend tee!haha

:D

2) T-shirt from Aeropostale

Aeropostale is this American brand, very much like Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister..etc. But it's the slightly cheaper version. Actually, all these brands remind me of our Padini. It's very similar!

Initially, he asked what size am I and I said I'm not sure of US measurements, but my Forever 21 clothes are in S, which is a little baggy for me. So mayyyybe I'm XS?

I was a little worried as I checked Aeropostale's size chart a few days later and I'm supposed to be an S, not XS. But turns out, he got me an M because he said he has never shopped for girls before and he had to reconfirm with the salesgirl that he was in the girls section and they all looked like kids' clothing.hahaha

I took out the shirt and got kinda self conscious but I had to try it on anyway, right? So I put it on andddd..IT'S JUST RIGHT! How on Earth could he make such a smart guess?lmao It isn't too baggy or too tight. Thank God, man!

3 & 4) Buffalo Wild Wings sauces

Buffalo Wild Wings is this place where they serve Buffalo Wings as in the chicken wings which are really famous in the US, I think. And they're his favourite! In January last year, he took this Blazin' Challenge where he has to eat 12 wings prepared with their signature Blazin' sauce(the spiciest of all 16 sauces) in 6 minutes and guess what? He won!heh

I haven't got the chance to make chicken wings to be dipped with those sauces, but I tried on the prawns mum fried last night. The Mild one is sour. Not bad, but there's the celery smell *faint* haha and the Honey BBQ tasted good! I obviously prefer that one over celery lah.haha I'll finish it up nevertheless:)

5) Tootsie Roll

It's a coca-flavoured chewy candy that has been around since 1896.

Wikipedia-ed it and whaaaat?! It's been introduce to Singapore but not Malaysia?

6) Skittles in SHARE SIZE!

It's so sweet of him to buy all the candies in big packets. I feel bad that I sent him small packets of everything last Christmas. But I couldn't help it..my package was already very heavy:(

I think the reason he got share sizes for me is that so I can share with my family...and maybe my friends. How thoughtful :)

7) Starburst

Another American favourite other than Skittles and Tootsie Roll. Starburst is similar to Sugus, except that the fruity taste is stronger in Starburst. I know his favourite flavour!!!!XD

8) Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

We do have it here in Malaysia, but it's quite hard to find. Actually, I don't know where I can get it other than duty-free places like Langkawi and Hershey's stores, which in JB we don't have..

Reese's is my mum's favourite. She doesn't really like candies and chocolates but I remember when she first got it at the Hershey's store outside of Universal Studios Singapore, she fell in love with it! Now my dad likes it too after sharing one packet with me.lol

9) Minnesota magnet

All because he know I like travel-themed things. So far, he has strike two things off my wish list. No one has ever cared to follow my wish lists before, actually! :)

I mean, of course my family give me what I want and need, but my wish lists....

Andddddd this! Is my Valentine's Day cum birthday present :D Yayayeeeee! I'm happy, very happy. I wore his shirt for the second day in a row. Mum's going to wash it and there does his nice smell:( Nevermind, I'll just wait for him to come here.heh

The cologne actually smells a little different from when he sprayed on the letter. It smells a lot better on the shirt :)

Thank you, baby! I hope you like the small package I sent you for Valentine's! It's probably reaching in within a few days. I tracked it yesterday and the package has been sent out of CA on the 8th!
